    Why Niger and Why Now?

  • A Travel Visa
    A Visa is required before departing the US.
    The trip's leader will secure Malaria preventions, recommend, distribute prescriptions and provide items every day such as: DEET, sun screen, a hat, and proper clothing.

  • Ladies must wear skirts. You are traveling into another culture which we must respect.

Past Trips

January, 2004 Initial fact-finding trip to view the ministry of H.I.S., 4 members representing 2 churches. Team America conducted on-site health clinics at Sarando Village, Kollo City, and the prison in Niamey. Team also studied the infrastructure of Niger and assisted the Pastoral in Niger.
January, 2005 Team from Humedica in Germany took up residence to assist with Famine Relief efforts. Later in the year, they were joined by Operation Blessing members.
January, 2006 First International Team, 21 members, represented 3 countries: USA, England and Germany. They conducted 4 medical clinics and attempted unsuccessfully to drill for water in 2 village sites. Additional training for members of Hosanna, repaired a well from last year. The International Team also met with representatives of the Niger government  and assisted with famine relief as well as attended the Prison ministries.
May, 2006 Small team of 2 to look into Women's Ministry Operations
September, 2006 Small team of 2 successfully drilled a well at Kollo, along with members of Hosanna.
January, 2007 Team One, consisting of 4 members with a Pastoral focus, held a Pastor's Conference in Maradi. They trained with Hosanna Pastoral staff in Niamey. Documentation of scope of Hosanna ministry in Niger.
  Team Two, consisting of 20 members, focused on Medical, Well Drilling, Political and Agricultural concerns. They performed medical services at several locations and drilled wells in two villages. The Team also met with government representatives and performed agricultural evaluations, including irrigation strategies.
